Chana Chatpati – also known as chana batata – is a chickpea and potato curry. This is one of our quickest recipes. Usually you would soak the chickpeas for a day and boil them before using them. In our recipe we use tinned chickpeas, which makes this recipe easy to make and is ready to eat under half an hour!
If you have a little extra time, cut some onions, sprinkle some sev and coriander to make it taste even better.
This recipe has a sweet and tangy flavour, perfect for a light lunch. It pleases the adults and young ones.
