A quick and easy appetiser or side dish. This is our version of the delicious Indochinese appetizers, you can of course tweak the recipe to suit your taste. Try adding a different sauce to switch things up.

Before Frying



    Here's our step-by-step recipe for chicken lollipops. Its so quick and easy to make and tastes delicious!!


    In a large bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients together and set aside to marinate for about half an hour

    Ruky Tip
    We always recommend using a large bowl because it makes it so much easier to evenly incorporate the ingredients!


    Before frying add the egg, plain flour and corn flour. This will give the lollipops the delicious crispy crunch! Then just mix and fry in some oil on a medium-high heat. Use a temperature probe to check if the chicken has cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should be 75 degrees.


    For the sauce, add all ingredients into a shallow pan and then toss the fried chicken in the sauce. This will add to the flavour and make it taste even better. The sauce is optional!


    Serve with some delicious green chutney
