Directions
Here's our step by step recipe for the pizza dough. Don't forget to send us a picture if you give it a go!
Measure out all of your ingredients. This makes the process so much easier and faster, especially if you're planning on getting your kids involved!
In a large bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together
Ruky Tip
You can do this whole recipe in a stand mixer using the dough hook to make less work for your arms!
Then, pour in the oil and mix again.
In a measuring jug, pour in the luke-warm water and milk. In the mixing bowl add in the egg and then gradually pour in the water and milk.
Keep kneading to form a soft dough for a minimum of 5 minutes. If the dough seems too soggy, add a little more flour and a splash of oil, this will help bind the ingredients together. If it feels too stiff, add some more water, remember the dough should be soft and spongy but not sticky. See YouTube video for reference.
Once the dough has been kneaded, add a table spoon of oil and knead once again for 1 minute
Grease the bowl or container with oil then cover the dough with cling film and a towel. Leave the dough in a warm place to rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in volume (you could leave it on top of the fridge freezer!).
You can either make large pizzas of your preferred size or mini pizzas. The mini pizzas are perfect for lunch boxes!
Conclusion
You can use any toppings of your choice! To see the toppings that we most commonly use, check out our YouTube video.
