Pot Roast is most definitely on the menu whenever guests come round because its easy to whip together and it tastes delicious! This recipe can be made when you’ve got no time on your hands to make a full on meal or when you just can’t be bothered! If you like a spicy, tangy kick to your food, this one is for you!
This pot roast can also be made in the oven or in a slow cooker. Either way it tastes great. If you have more time on your hands, cook it in the oven!
The great thing about this recipe is that you can mix and match the ingredients – adding vegetables etc – to whatever suits your taste buds.
Ingredients
3 Step Pot Roast
Directions
This is the step by step recipe for our 'one pot' Pot Roast
Prepare the chicken to marinate
Add all the ingredients to a medium sized pot and give it a good mix. This is the great thing about this recipe, you just chuck it all in!
Ruky Tip
You can mix all the ingredients together first and then add in the chicken. This ensures that all the flavours are evenly distributed throughout the whole dish.
Add 2-3 cups of water and leave it to boil for 10 minutes. The water will evaporate while cooking the chicken, if the internal temperature of the chicken has not reached 75 degrees then add more water and let it cook for longer.
Ruky TipYes, that is it! Its that easy!!
Use a temperature probe.
Conclusion
You can serve this with some fresh homemade chips and a sprinkle of coriander!
