It is a one pot recipe that once you get a hang of it, it’s super easy. It is a basic recipe that doesn’t require any fancy ingredients, but still tastes great and cooks in no time.
It can be served with white rice or even flat bread (chapatti).

Here's the quick and easy recipe for chicken recipe. All you do is chuck it all in one pot!
In a large pot, add in the oil, cardamom, cinnamon, whole cumin, cloves and black pepper balls. Let it cook for 1 minute and then add in the halved potatoes.
Give it a good stir and then add the fried onions, ginger garlic paste and 1/4 cup of water. Then add in all the spices; dhana jeeru, paprika, hot chilli, turmeric and salt
Once the spices have mostly cooked and the kitchen smells AMAZING, add in the portioned chicken. Stir it well and make sure that the chicken is well covered in the spices. Then add 1/2 a cup of water and cover the pot
It should take around 15 minutes to cook the chicken. You can check if the chicken is cooked with a temperature probe. The internal temperature of the chicken should be 75 degrees when it is fully cooked through
Once the chicken is cooked, add in the blended tomatoes and the garam masala. Give the curry a good mix and then cover the pot to let the tomato cook fully.
Once the whole curry is cooked, you can add water as needed. We like our chicken curry relatively soupy so we added one cup of water. You can add as much or as little as you want!
Finally garnish with coriander and serve!
