Ingredients
Directions
In a wide pot, add in the ghee and let it melt for a couple of seconds and then add the flour. You can use plain or wholemeal flour. We used wholemeal flour. Keep the hob on a low/medium heat
Continuously mix the mixture until a strong aroma comes from it and the flour has fully cooked through. Once the flour has cooked through, switch the hob off and let the mixture cool
Then add in the cream or milk when the mixture is slightly warm and stir. Add in the cardamom, nutmeg, almonds and pistachios and mix
In a greased tray, pour in the mixture and flatten it firmly with a flat spatula or the bottom of a bowl. Garnish with some chopped nuts and piece the gur papdi while it is still warm in your preferred size
Let the gur papdi fully cool before you remove the pieces. Enjoy!
