Ingredients
Directions
Firstly, add the soft butter and ghee into a mixing bowl along with the sugar and beat until combined well. We mixed it for 1 min in a stand mixer
Then add in the egg, ground cardamom, nutmeg, semolina, baking powder, 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda and cardamom seeds and beat again for around 2 minutes
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then gradually add in the flour.
Then form flat balls with the batter, ours were around a tablespoons size. Use the video for reference. If you like, you can use a knife to make slits in the biscuit and decorate with some nuts or sprinkles before baking.
Bake for around 10-12 minutes or until they are golden.
Conclusion
Enjoy with a cup of karak Indian tea!
