This super simple recipe is incredibly easy to make and scrumptious to enjoy. Have it on its own or add your own toppings and flavour twist. A unique family favourite, definitely worth a try! You won’t get it wrong.



    Here's the quick and easy step by step recipe for 15 minute Phirni!


    In a medium sized sauce pan add the melted butter. Let it melt and then add the semolina and rice flour and stir continuously for 5 minutes on medium-low heat till slightly brown. It is really important that you continuously stir because if you don't, the ingredients will start burning on the bottom and sides causing burnt chunks in your phirni


    Add the milk and boil till the mixture begins to thicken whilst continuously stirring


    Once the milk is boiling add cardamom powder and sugar. Stir and leave to cool. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving


    Serve with some coconut, and chopped nuts.


    The phirni will thicken even more once refrigerated
